A cosy cabin made for two

The Lakehouse is a unique cabin, nestled beside a small lake within the grounds of Grade II listed Coddington Mill. Whether you visit for a romantic weekend or a few days away from it all, The Lakehouse is a perfect retreat made for two.

The pretty hamlet of Coddington is a conservation area, just 9 miles from the historic City of Chester and is right in the middle of the breath-taking, rolling Cheshire countryside.

An inviting escape

With a Kingsize bed, The Lakehouse comfortably sleeps two. The ensuite bathroom has a shower, toilet and washbasin, whilst the stunning copper bath awaits you under the stars out on the deck.

In the winter, you’ll be warmed by the log burner and heaters, perhaps snuggled on the sofa with a glass of red wine and a good book.  In the summer, the bifold doors open along nearly the entire length of the deck, to reveal a wonderful space to sit out, relax and enjoy the lake. The Lakehouse truly is a year round destination.

Nearby

Although you may prefer to enjoy eating at some of the local restaurants and pubs, The Lakehouse has an outdoor wood fired oven (amazing for rustic pizza!) plus a kitchen area with kettle, coffee machine, toaster, two ring electric hob and a fridge freezer so you’ll be able to bring supplies and cater for yourself. You could also pick up some delicious produce from the local farm shop.

The Cheshire countryside and the nearby Roman City of Chester have so much to offer. If you want to get out and about as part of your stay, you could take a walk in the hills and enjoy some stunning views, jump on the bikes and enjoy the countryside or take a trip into Chester or to many of the attractions nearby such as Chester Zoo.
