The grounds of The Mill are for hire so whether you’d prefer a tipi or a grand marquee we work together to shape your special day in exactly the way you have dreamt about. Set in the grounds, The Lakehouse, provides a beautiful luxury cabin for the happy couple to escape to after their special day.

A note on ceremonies
Coddington Mill is a reception venue as we do not hold a licence to carry out wedding ceremonies. Couples that would like to welcome a celebrant to marry them here are welcome to do so (we know a wonderful one!) you’d simply need to complete your legal marriage at the registry office ahead of the day. Of course, some couples choose a church ceremony on the day and then continue on to Coddington Mill for the reception.

The Canvas Tent Co
TRADITIONAL CANVAS & TIMBER POLE MARQUEE HIRE
Luxury canvas and timber pole tents are handcrafted in Britain and supplied by The Canvas Tent Co. The signature swooped roof lines extend the elevation of the canopy and create a bright, light and airy interior. The open plan design offers creative freedom and versatility with your layout options so you really can tailor your event to you!
A range of furniture, flooring and lighting options are all available.
The Fabulous Fizz Bar
The amazing Steph and her team from The Fabulous Fizz provide an entire bar service, combining either an inside bar, plus mobile bar van ‘Claude’ outside. This works really well with the food vans to create that festival feel.
Catering
Whilst we can arrange more formal catering and canapes/ a three course sit down meal, it is fair to say that Coddington Mill lends itself to more of a festival feel and as such, we have found that a range of food vans make a really unique and memorable alternative for your day. Guests can choose from a range of options (at least two works really well) and then of course you can follow with a more traditional cutting of the cake, or create a cake/sweet treats table for guests to help themselves to.
Entertainment
You can of course choose any entertainment for your wedding reception. We find that music and dancing are a huge part of everyone’s event.

Decoration & venue dressing
If you love natural tones and a countryside feel then you’ll absolutely ‘get’ the look we create at Coddington Mill. Think straw bales, rustic wood and leafy green displays. Whether you choose to decorate the venue yourself, pass it over to us or hire in an external company, we are sure we can achieve the look you have been dreaming about.
Little Rustic Rentals
Carefully curated flowers by the wonderful Julie and her team. Available to complete everything from table decorations, flower arch displays, through to Bride’s and maids Bouquets, button holes and thank you posies. Also available is the option to purchase flowers as a DIY package to fill your table displays such as jars yourself.

Nomadic Washrooms specialise in the hire of luxury Shepherds Hut toilet & shower trailers for that extra memorable touch at your wedding.

What better way to finish your day than an overnight stay in the beautiful Lakehouse.
Wake up in the morning and enjoy the views or head on over to the field to wake up your campers to continue celebrations.

Summer Belles Glamping
It is so rare now to get all of your friends and family together and enjoy quality time. A wonderful way to extend your event (every couple says the day is all over too quickly!) so why not create a wedding village and enjoy the whole weekend with your loved ones. Hiring bell tents means your guests won’t have to arrange and pay for taxis and hotels, and more importantly, they don’t have to leave the party early. Summer Belles Glamping will install a glamping village complete with raised beds, bedding and of course toilets are on site. Breakfast hampers and little luxuries also available.

There are several B&B’s, the Cock O Barton rooms or Carden Park Hotel nearby too.
Photography
Steve is a Staffordshire based photographer who travels throughout the UK and overseas to shoot incredible weddings. If you want the X factor, we can’t recommend Steve enough. He is always a pleasure to work with and has a lovely relaxed way about him, whilst capturing truly breath-taking standout images of your day.
Event Management
Planning a wedding is an exciting time and for most couples they have some ideas for how they would like their wedding to be. Of course, there are many elements to consider, so input around some of the areas you may have forgotten, means we can work together to plan to perfection! Trusting us with your event management means that we can handle everything from booking forms, working with you on timings, supplier management and ensuring everything comes together smoothly for your dream day.
You will be provided with a plan of your chosen wedding layout, and we will liaise with all suppliers both before, during and after the event to ensure that their requirements for access, power, safety and insurance are all met.
